hmmmm... i love those saturdays.

now it is saturday morning and i am done with school. yay.

and what better what to celebrate than some cartoons. yeah, yeah, yeah. i know they are not what they used to be but there are some diamonds in the rough out there. really can not name them off the top of my head but i know they are out there. but one that comes to mind is the "backyardigans." yes, i know it is made for kindergartners but there is something hypnotic about their harmoniousness. they sing songs and so on adventures in their backyards. reminds me of the imaginations of "the rugrats." plus that theme song is the shit.

give me some classic like g.i. joe or the transformers any day. or even some captain planet, "he's our hero." and doug! oh i miss doug. those were the days when you could watch cartoons for hours straight on a saturday in front of the tele and not see a bad one.

so get high, make some pancakes and bacon, pour a glass of gin and oj, and relax. and join me for some saturday cartoons.
